In 2017 I discovered Story Art, or Soulful Art, which is an artwork that tells a story.  Maybe it's from a classic story like 'Beauty and the Beast', or maybe it's a young girl holding a flower, or maybe it's a phoenix flying free - each artwork has its own story - either clearly portrayed by the artist, or left for the viewer to interpret.

I love story art.  I love the elements, the various items in the painting that make you question - who is this person?  What is their story?   Story art is where I feel most at home, and it feels like 'my true north' whenever I create such a piece.  Art feeds the soul, and story art fills mine with joy.  Annie Hamman is one such artist who hosts several online courses, and I learned so much from her!  The paintings below are some of mine, and some that were from her online courses.
