My name is Linda Maher and I am an artist living in northern NSW, Australia. Creativity began for me in the form of music, and during my schooling years, I learned the flute and joined in several concert bands.  As an adult, I became invloved in education ran an online book business for seventeen years.

Time went by and after life taught me a few painful lessons, I found my healing through Art.   At first, I painted only landscapes, as 'I could never paint a face or anything' - and then, I discovered some wonderful online teachers, and discovered that through practice, learning and determination, you can truly draw and paint whatever you choose!  As well, I took a few songwriting courses and discovered I had a flair for lyric writing.  I was lucky enough to record a few of my songs, and every now and then, the writing bug hits and another song springs to life.

I still hold a great love for writing and tutoring, and so continue to tutor as opportunities arise - to not only encourage art, but creativity through writing as well.  No matter what your passion is:   art, music, writing, sport, family, religion or your work - I believe we are all creative souls that can bring joy and comfort to others.
