2023 was a year of highs and lows, but as always, I continued in my art journey.  I completed a Certificate in Fine Arts online through Curtin University, which was an incredible learning experience!  Our children, now grown, moved out of the house and we began the new phase of our lives as 'empty nesters', although the family is never far away.  Our fifth grandchild was born, and we are very much enjoying being grandparents!

The annual Jacaranda Festival was a great success, and I received a couple of prizes and sold some work which was an incredible honor.  I continued to discover my own style, and became fascinated with tall ships and paintings of times gone by. I rediscovered my love of black and whites, as well as my love of turquoise and blues. I also made a return to tutoring at the local art club.
