2025
2025 started off with lots of time for painting and following my passions. In March, I became the Vice President of the local Art Club, which also put me in charge of organising our local Art Exhibition, held annually each October/November. What a learning curve that was! I almost had a few breakdowns, but we got there and had a very successful exhibition!

June to December went by so fast, and so much happened. Lots of travel to see family and friends, along with some health issues, which I hope to deal with in the new year of 2026. This year I developed Vertigo, which has been debilitating, and a challenge. I do have ways to cope and improve it, so hopefully 2026 will be better in this regard!
As to art, 2025 started off strong, and I even won Grand Champion at the local show - I was absolutely honoured and thrilled! I kept painting along with organising the Jacaranda Exhibition, but after October, things got so busy that painting did not happen as much as I'd like - but that's life!
Still, looking back I see I still managed to paint quite a lot - I look forward to continuing to improve and find my style into 2026!
